SAVE A LIFE, KEEP YOUR DOG ON A LEASH IN THE CITY!

Please do not ever be tempted into walking your dog off of the leash in the city. You would be surprised at how many people take their dog off of the leash on the sidewalks of Manhattan. For one, this is illegal in our city. More importantly you would think a dog owner would be worried about its loved one dashing into the street into traffic and being hit. How many times have you almost been hit by an erratic cab driver or bus driver? Us dog owners must also respect that some people just have uncontrollable phobias of dogs BIG or small. The sight of an off-leash dog coming up to them can cause them to react in a nervous way which will in turn make your dog nervous. NOT a healthy situation to put you or anyone else in. Next time you think about not putting the leash on, please rethink it.. It could save your dogs life.
